TrackerGuard Privacy: Your Data Stays on Your Device

TrackerGuard checks whether a tracker is following you. To do that it has to know where you are, so we keep that data as small and as local as possible.

What is not collected

Your name, contacts, phone number, your phone's own Bluetooth address, the names of other Bluetooth devices, or anything from headphones, watches or TVs. Location is read only while a scan is running and stops when you stop scanning.

Storage and sharing

Data is saved in your browser's local storage on your phone or computer. We do not receive it. If you use Export, the file contains your location history, so keep it private.

Delete your data

Open the scanner, go to Settings → Delete everything. Clearing your browser's site data does the same.

Who runs TrackerGuard
